eMRnet is a Georgia LLC company incorporated in November 2005. The sole purpose of eMRnet is the provision of high quality electronic medical record software at an affordable price to small and medium sized medical practices with a focus on rural practices.

The principals of the company have vast experience in health information technology and electronic medical records. The founders believe that success is based on quality, integrity, and moral values and as such these are the business and customer service foundations of eMRnet.

		Bruce M Whyte MD, DipRCOG, DipACOG Founder and Medical Director • 34 years in family practice and obstetrics, medical researcher, medical epidemiologist; • 26 years in health information technology; • 25 years with electronic medical records systems including developing and using his own EMR in clinical practice; • Former CEO of Georgia Mountains Health Services (FQHC); and • Assistant Professor, Community Medicine, Mercer University School of Medicine.

eMRnet has partnered with RF Technical Services to provide on-site hardware and network support. This service is available for any practice on a contractual basis. This partner is located in Cordele, Georgia and offers a four hour turn around for support in Georgia. We have also partnered with Websign Computers who developed and continue to maintain our web site.

An important partnership is with Macon State College and their schools of Nursing and Allied Sciences, Health Information Technology and Information Technology. Graduate students from the College are recruited to assist in the ongoing implementation and management of systems at medical practices.
